Photographers' Formulary 100g Gallic Acid

Photographers' Formulary Gallic Acid is used in the production of azo dyes and photographic developers. Note: When heated above 220 Degree C, Gallic acid loses carbon dioxide to form pyrogallol or 1,2,3-trihydroxybenzene, C6H3(OH)3. Keep in a tightly closed container, stored in a cool, dry, ventilated area. Protect against physical damage. Protect from light.
