However, Ramesh marries Seema and leaves the Nanda household. Nanda’ elder son Ravi (Rishi Kapoor) returns and is told by his father that Ramesh has gone on a business trip, which he finds suspicious and decides to investigate. He is shocked to know that Ramesh and Seema are no longer alive, and have left behind a son in the care of Seema’s younger sister Kanchan (Padmini kolhapure). Ramesh falls in love with Kanchan. Time flies and one day Kanchan is shocked to find that Ravi belongs to the Nanda family, and that eventually she too will face the same fate as her sister. Quite shockingly, Ravi’s father is welcoming to the little child and wants to adopt him. Has he changed or does he have a selfish motive behind the adoption?
