Yulong Canary II DAC/Amp

The sequel to the Yulong Canary DAC/amp, the Canary II sees several improved features and a few returning favorites. The biggest change is in the chips, where the Canary II showcases an upgraded XU208 chipset with support for Native DSD512 and PCM 768KHz decoding, as well as ESS's well-regarded 9038Q2M DAC chip for improved digital-to-audio conversion. Like its predecessor, the Canary II delivers impressive amplification rated at 1000mw at 32 ohms. Yulong has fine-tuned its fully discrete component Class-A JFET preamplifier module to create a cleaner, more realistic tone while delivering strong headphone amplification.
