This Undersized Dado Router Bit will make perfectly sized dado cuts for 1/4 thick plywood. Plywood thicknesses are actually thinner than the measurements stated. These bits are slightly narrower or undersized to match the actual thickness of plywood. The true cutting diameter is 13/64 with a 1/2 shank. This bit also feature a Carbide which are very durable versatile and long lasting. The Carbide can be manufactured with very small diameters while still maintaining structural strength. Best for use in detailed applications inlays and fine grooving. The solid carbide tip is welded into a hardened steel shank. Finished and dressed plywood is thinner than the measurement stated.
