Our tea uses the time-honored cleansing herbs Organic Burdock and Dandelion in combination with Juniper Berry. In addition, we use a traditional Ayurvedic cleansing blend called "trikatu" (Ginger, Black Pepper, and Long Pepper) along with Indian Sarsaparilla for spicy flavor. Licorice with Cinnamon, Cardamom and Clove round out this deliciously spiced blend. When combined with an overall wellness program, DeTox helps bring healthy balance from within.
Our story begins in 1969 when Yogi Bhajan, an inspirational teacher of holistic living, started teaching yoga in the west. With his students he shared his wisdom and knowledge of healthy living and the beneficial properties of herbs, all while serving a comforting and aromatic spiced tea they affectionately named "Yogi Tea".
Suggested Use
Get the Most Out of Every Cup
Bring water to boiling and steep 5 to 10 minutes. For a stronger tea, use 2 tea bags. Drink 1 to 3 cups any time during the day, up to 10 tea bags a day. DeTox can be used every day for up to 30 days. Pause up to 1 week before resuming.
