Xtar D36 5800 Diving Flashlight Full Set

The Xtar D36 5800 is the highest output dive torch from Xtar so far, offering a maximum output of 5800 lumens of white light from the two LEDs and can be submerged up to 100 meters depth.Unique in the fact it has two LEDs and an OLED screen, the D36 5800 has a flood beam output of 4200 lumens from the Cree XHP70.2 P2 LED and a spot beam output of 1600 lumens from the Cree XHP35 HI D4 LED. The LEDs can be used individually or they can be used combined to achieve the maximum output of 5800 lumens.The OLED screen comes on when the torch is turned on and displays whether you are in flood or spot mode with an icon in the top left corner, the top right corner shows battery percentage, the middle of the screen shows remaining run-time at the current output, which is useful for planning ahead, and the bottom of the screen shows the lumen output you are on.The sealed battery pack is the equivalent of three 3.6 V 18650 batteries, with a combined voltage of 10.8 V and 3500 mAh. The battery pack is charged up outside of the torch by inserting the UK 3 pin plug adaptor into the mains and then plugging the circular jack end into the charging port on the base of the battery pack. A small charging indicator around the outer edge of the battery will light up red to show charging is in progress and turn green once charging is complete.Two buttons control the functions of the D36 5800. The right-hand button turns the light on with a single press and will come on in the floodlight setting as default and then cycle through floodlight, spotlight, combined, and then off with each press. While in floodlight setting the left-hand button cycles through high, mid, low with each press, and holding the button for 1.5 seconds will enter the blink setting. While the torch is in spotlight setting the left-hand button will again cycle through the high, mid, low outputs for the spotlight, and holding the button for 1.5 seconds will access the SOS setting.When in the combined flood and spot setting only the highest output of 5800 lumens is available and if the left button is pressed the torch will revert back to just the floodlight setting.The D36 can be locked out to prevent accidental activation in transit. With the light off the press and hold the right-hand button and the OLED screen will display an unlocked padlock icon, flash, and then after three seconds, it will change to a locked padlock to show it is in lockout mode. Do the same again to unlock the torch.A tripod socket allows it to be tripod mounted for photography use or attached to a photography rig with the right connection.
