X-Men: The Last Stand is a sci-fi action-adventure film that’s directed by Brett Ratner and stars Golden Globe Award-winner Hugh Jackman, Academy Award-winner Halle Berry, Golden Globe Award-winner Ian McKellen (Gandalf from the Lord of the Rings film series) and Patrick Stewart (Captain Jean-Luc Picard from the TV series Star Trek: The Next Generation). The plot of this movie follows the X-Men, a team of mutants (a subspecies of human), who have to battle the Brotherhood, another gang of powerful mutants, in order to ensure that mankind is protected.
