Wooden Camera Unified Accessory Kit for Sony FS5 Camera (Pro)

The Sony FS5 Unified Accessory Kit (Pro) is a professional camera support package designed for the Sony PXW-FS5 camera and utilizes their new Unified Baseplate System. The FS5 accessory package includes: Top Plate (Sony FS5), a top mounting camera cheeseplate for accessory attachment, Unified Baseplate (Sony FS5), a quick release, camera baseplate for holding the two 15mm Rods (15") at the correct lens height, the articulating NATO Lock Magic Arm (11") for attaching the original Sony LCD included with the camera or any other display and the Rod Clamp (15mm LW) that provides multiple 1/4-20 mounting points for attaching Battery Slide which provides mounting points for a V-Mount or Gold Mount battery plate (not included). The Unified Baseplate includes an ARRI dovetail slot on the bottom which attaches to the included Safety Dovetail (12"). Top Plate Top plate for Sony FS5 camera which allows the handle to remain installed on the camera body. Arrays of 1/4-20 holes in standard spacing and multiple 3/8-16 holes for large accessories. ARRI Standard Accessory Mount in several places (3/8-16 threaded hole with locating pins adjacent). Tape hook included. Note that the Sony cable guide should be removed and installed on the side of the Top Plate. Great for mounting NATO Lock Magic Arm (7"), WC Magic Arm (7"), Universal Hot Shoe and more. Unified Baseplate Unified Baseplate (Sony FS5, VariCam LT, VariCam 35) is a quick release baseplate that provides lightweight 15mm rod support at the correct lens height. 15mm rods pass through front to back and have two locking thumbscrews per side. The baseplate quick releases in two ways, giving the user the option to take the 15mm lightweight rods or to leave them behind.• Upper dovetail based on ARCA Swiss dovetail shape • Vertical 15mm rod hole for optional support posts, ideal for lens adapters like Metabones, etc. • Pass through 15mm lightweight rod openings with two locking thumbscrews per rod • Lower dovetail based on ARRI standard dovetail shape • 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 holes for attaching to tripod plates and Bridgeplates To remove the camera and leave the LW 15mm rods behind, unlock the right side thumbscrew, slide the camera backwards a short distance and lift straight up. The dovetail attached to the bottom of the camera is an ARCA Swiss standard shape which can integrate with many third party products. Additionally, there are threaded 1/4-20 holes on the bottom for attaching to gimbals or tripod plates when necessary. On the sides, there are 1/4-20 holes and the ARRI standard accessory mount (3/8-16 threaded hole with locating pins adjacent). Also on this upper dovetail is a vertical 15mm rod opening which can be used to support a lens adapter foot directly in front of the camera body. An example of this would be the Sony FS5 using a Metabones Canon EF adapter. The upper dovetail would be positioned with the vertical 15mm rod opening to the front and the Unified Lens Adapter Support Kit would be installed and threaded into the Metabones support foot. The bottom of the baseplate is comprised of the Lower Quick Dovetail which has 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes for attaching to tripod plate or ARRI standard bridge plate such as Unified Bridgeplate (19mm) or Unified Bridgeplate (15mm Studio). To remove the camera from the included Lower Quick Dovetail and take the 15mm lightweight rods with you, unlock the left thumbscrew, slide the baseplate backwards a short distance and lift up. This action exposes an integrated ARRI dovetail slot on the bottom which can attach directly to any 2060 Dovetails, Safety Dovetails or Shoulder Rigs. For VCT-14 compatible mounting options, the Unified Baseplate can be attached to the Unified VCT Wedge Plate, providing easy counterbalance ability while on the shoulder. This could then be attached to the Unified VCT-14 Tripod Plate which would be attached to the tripod head. Additional Unified Lower Quick Dovetails can be purchased to mount to gimbals, jibs, cranes, etc, making for quick and repeatable camera transitions. 15mm Rod 15mm diameter iris rods used for mounting accessories like follow focus, matte box, lens support, servo motors and more. Safety Dovetail 8" ARRI standard dovetail with safety catch on one end to prevent accidental camera removal. Threaded 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 holes for accessory mounting and tripod attachment. Attach to Shoulder Pad for custom handheld configurations Perfect for Manfrotto, Miller, Cartoni and more. Rod Clamp Rod Clamp (15mm LW) can attach to existing 15mm rods to provide 1/4-20 mounting points. It can also be turned over and bolted to cheeseplates, cages, battery plates and more. Extremely versatile, compact and lightweight. Battery Slide Battery Slide is an adjustable mounting system for WC V-Mount, WC Gold Mount, QRC Gold Mount and RED/Blueshape style battery plates. Rows of pass through holes allow attachment of Rod Clamps, cheeseplates and more. Apply firm pressure to tilt the plate in place. Loosen the thumbscrew to slide the plate up and down and also tilt. Great for adjusting counterbalance and for transitioning from studio to handheld mode. NATO Lock Magic Arm NATO Lock Magic Arm (11") is an articulating arm with NATO standard quick release and clamp on each end, ratcheting center thumbscrew with rosette and stainless steel ball-joint construction. The rail portion can bolt into a 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 hole using the included screws. Set screw can also be installed to prevent twisting. The rail is also threaded for 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 so accessories can screw into it. The clamp portion of the kit can also bolt into a 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 hole using the included screws and it is also threaded for 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 so accessories can screw into.
