Wooden Camera Unified Accessory Kit for Blackmagic URSA Mini Camera (Pro)
The Blackmagic URSA Mini Unified Accessory Kit (Pro) is a professional camera support package designed for the Blackmagic URSA Mini camera. The URSA Mini accessory package includes: Top Plate (URSA Mini), a top mounting camera cheeseplate for accessory attachment, Unified Baseplate (URSA Mini), a quick release baseplate for holding the two 15mm Rods (15") at the correct lens height, NATO Handle Kit (Plus, 70mm), a quick release handle that attaches to the top plate, has a rotating top grip, multiple mounting points for accessories, integrated shoe mount and a 15mm/19mm rod opening and UVF Mount (No Clamp) for holding EVFs and LCDs. The Unified Baseplate includes an ARRI dovetail slot on the bottom which attaches to the included Safety Dovetail (12"). Top Plate (URSA Mini) Top mounting cheese plate for Blackmagic URSA Mini Camera. Attaches to camera top by (4) 1/4-20 screws. Arrays of 1/4-20 holes in standard 9mm spacing and multiple 3/8-16 holes for large accessories. ARRI accessory mount also available in several places (3/8-16 screw hole with locating pins adjacent). Includes tape hook for accurate focus measuring. Original Blackmagic handle can be reinstalled on the Top Plate using center 1/4-20 threaded holes. Unified Baseplate (URSA Mini, Sony F55, F5) Unified Baseplate (URSA Mini, Sony F55, F5) is a quick release baseplate that provides lightweight 15mm rod support at the correct lens height. 15mm rods pass through front to back and have two locking thumbscrews per side. The baseplate quick releases in two ways, giving the user the option to take the 15mm lightweight rods or to leave them behind. • Upper dovetail based on ARCA Swiss dovetail shape • Vertical 15mm rod hole for optional support posts, ideal for lens adapters like Metabones, etc. • Pass through 15mm lightweight rod openings with two locking thumbscrews per rod • Lower dovetail based on ARRI standard dovetail shape • 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 holes for attaching to tripod plates and Bridgeplates To remove the camera and leave the LW 15mm rods behind, unlock the right side thumbscrew, slide the camera backwards a short distance and lift straight up. The dovetail attached to the bottom of the camera is an ARCA Swiss standard shape which can integrate with many third party products. Additionally, there are threaded 1/4-20 holes on the bottom for attaching to gimbals or tripod plates when necessary. Also on this upper dovetail is a vertical 15mm rod opening which can be used to support a lens adapter foot directly in front of the camera body. The bottom of the baseplate is comprised of the Lower Quick Dovetail which has 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes for attaching to tripod plate or ARRI standard bridge plate such as Unified Bridgeplate (19mm) or Unified Bridgeplate (15mm Studio). To remove the camera from the included Lower Quick Dovetail and take the 15mm lightweight rods with you, unlock the left thumbscrew, slide the baseplate backwards a short distance and lift up. This action exposes an integrated ARRI dovetail slot on the bottom which can attach directly to any 2060 Dovetails, Safety Dovetails or Shoulder Rigs. For VCT-14 compatible mounting options, the Unified Baseplate can be attached to the Unified VCT Wedge Plate, providing easy counterbalance ability while on the shoulder. This could then be attached to the Unified VCT-14 Tripod Plate which would be attached to the tripod head. Additional Unified Lower Quick Dovetails can be purchased to mount to gimbals, jibs, cranes, etc, making for quick and repeatable camera transitions. NATO Handle Kit The NATO Handle Kit (Plus, 70mm) is a quick release top handle that attaches and detaches without screws. Includes NATO Handle (Plus) and Safety NATO Rail (70mm) at a reduced package price. To attach to camera, slide onto NATO rail and turn thumbscrew to lock in place. Loosen top knob to adjust grip rotation. Sideways 15mm tube clamp allows for attachment of UVF Mount v2 (No Clamp). Forward facing 15mm rod opening and 19mm rear rod opening for attaching single rods for focus motors, etc. Integrated shoe mount for attaching on camera lights, microphone shock mounts, etc. 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 holes on grip area for attaching additional accessories. 1/4-20 holes on handle front for attaching Rod Clamps which allow for pass through rods front to back. UVF Mount (No Clamp) UVF Mount (No Clamp) is a version of their popular UVF Mount v2 without the 15mm Tube Clamp portion. This kit works great with NATO Handle (Plus) which has an integrated 15mm clamp. Accepts most EVFs and LCDs and has three points of adjustment: 15mm tube clamp for tilt and distance to the camera, NATO thumbscrew (identified by red component) for positioning on NATO rail and tension thumbscrew to adjust tilt of EVF. Tool-less design allows quick installation and removal of UVF v2 Sled. Safety pin prevents accidental removal. UVF v2 Sled can attach directly to any NATO-style rail and includes adapter for using SmallHD and Alphatron viewfinders. NATO Arm length approximately 5" The horizontal 15mm rod can attach directly to AJA CION handle, Sony FS7 Handle and other third party 15mm rod interfaces. 2x 15mm Rod (12") Two 15mm diameter iris rods 12 inches (30cm) in length. Safety Dovetail (8") ARRI standard dovetail with 8 inch (20cm) length. Attaches to any tripod plate with 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 screws.
