It also introduces unique features such as a dual direction swing away bracket, quick release neck strap, dual Teradek mounting areas, and carbon fiber rods and handles for enhanced durability and ease of use. The DMCv3 arrives mostly pre-assembled for your convenience, with a simple, rod-based height adjustment system. The carbon fiber hand grips can be quickly positioned via the built-in 15mm clamps, allowing for a comfortable and secure grip. The battery mounting plate is equipped with V-Mount and Gold Mount attachment points, as well as dual direction swing away functionality for easy access to the rear of the monitor and installed wireless devices. The battery bracket can also be quickly removed when both swing clamps are loosened, adding to the device's versatility. The cage includes a built-in baby pin clamp with a locking thumbwheel for stand mounting and holes on the main brackets for attaching directly to the back of Convergent Design Odyssey and Apollo. The included sun shade is adaptable to most monitors and snaps directly to the cage frame. The bottom of the shade is made of self-securing closure, which can be adjusted to the proper width of the monitor. An included loop piece can be used to hook onto the bottom of the cage for a more permanent mounting of the shade. The tool-less design of the handles allows them to be folded in for easy packing, and the sun shade can be repurposed to act as a protective cover. The package also includes a padded neck strap with 4 mounting points and quick release clips, Teradek mounting areas that allow up to two wireless receivers to be mounted side by side, and a cable tie for efficient cable management. The set comes with two Director's Monitor Cage v2 and a Dual Director's Monitor Cage v2 Adapter Set, which includes two connector pieces. For side by side mode, attach one connector piece on the top and the other on the bottom.
