A Performance tier Wool blend single sided compounding pad. Removes finshing abrasive sand scratches and other paint surface defects.
Introduction for use : Recommended speed 1500-2500 max, RPM, do not exceed 3000 Max. RPM Use only with 3M Hookit Backup Pad, part no 05717 or 05718.
To Install: Step 1: Center the compounding pad on the backup pad. Step 2: press firmly on the center of the compounded pad to insure contact with the backup pad face. buff at a low angle-almost flat-on the surface machine pressure to avoid burning or tearing the pad, keep the pad flat. or nearly flat, on surface being compounded as angles can cause additional swirling.
