Poets have always talked about Marrakesh, writers have talked about Fez, chefs have flirted with Tangier tagines, and now diplomats talk about Rabat, a city that has flourished in the last millennium. At first glance, it may seem boring and quiet, in which only the rustle of trees and the sounds of distant cars can be heard, but it carries within it restaurants. Luxurious, with kitchens in which tagines sit, and streets covered with oak trees, while the roar of its surroundings is loud and mixed with the wind. It is not a city that opens its arms to tourists, but rather gives its treasures to those who discover them.
