Introducing a series of original ball designs created by Wilson Design Labs featuring design led, performance driven, and court ready basketballs. These basketballs represent the collective heart, individual stories, and meaningful perspectives that shape the game. LUNAR: a note from the designer – I wanted to design a basketball for the kid in me. I have a very vivid memory of an assignment in 1st grade where everyone shared what they did over the weekend with their friends, while I shared all the facts I researched on Mercury—growing up I was obsessed with space. And when I wasn’t daydreaming of space exploration, I was always on the blacktop draining 3’s with the other kids on the block. Everything I dreamed of as a kid has taken me to where I am today and that’s what this basketball revolves around. The basketball is white and has reflective channels as a creative nod to the moon and how it reflects the sunlight, appropriately nicknamed the “lunar ball.” And to package it all up, the ball is releasing in the month of the Lunar New Year, celebrating my AAPI heritage. | Wilson Wilson Maker Series Basketball | Lunar - Size 7
