Where Have You Gone Ted Williams

Benji Crowton spent several of the first eight years of his life dreaming of peeling off the slick cover from a baseball bubblegum card to find Ted Williams' image inside. But no matter how often he tries he cannot seem to obtain the Red Sox slugger's card. But then he discovers that an older schoolmate--a bullying teen--has a Ted Williams card and is willing to trade. But Benji finds this potential deal leads him into discovering a sordid aspect of life. The tangled web of an illogical friendship pulls him deeper and deeper, causing danger for him and his family.
