If you're a digital artist looking to create stunning watercolour portraits, this brush set is the perfect addition to your toolkit! --- HERE ARE SOME CREATOR'S TIPS AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO HELP YOU MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR WATERCOLOUR PORTRAIT BRUSH SET FOR PROCREATE: - The Fineliner Pen and the Hard Brush Tip Pen brushes are best suited for blacks and very dark colours. To add extra depth, try putting the layer in Multiply blend mode. - Both the Watercolour Background and the Watercolour Portrait Detail brush work really well as smudge brushes as well. When using different colours/values etc, they can be blended together nicely just like real watercolours. Be careful not to blend too much though, or you might lose the realistic watercolour textures. - When using the Watercolour Window Brush , it's best to only apply it in moderation for smaller highlight windows in the paint, and not for bigger areas. For larger areas of white, it's best to plan in advance. This brush should not be used as an eraser but as an actual brush. Use it with the same colour as the background or a similar/darker colour to achieve the desired realistic effect of a darker edge where the watercolour has pooled. - The Watercolour Paper Brush is ideal for use with a white or very light colour on a dark background. Be sure to paint the whole canvas with one stroke, I.e., do not lift the pen off the surface before the whole canvas is covered! - If you prefer intense colours, you can achieve this effect by duplicating the watercolour layer and merging the duplicates together before adding the Multiply blending mode for extra depth. However, this is entirely a personal preference and not necessary. - Finally, the Colour Pencil Texture brush works best on top of the watercolours. Whether it should be on top or below the ink linework is a personal preference, considering that in a physical painting, a colour pencil could both cover or be covered by an ink pen, depending on which one is laid down first, as they are both opaque!
