War of the Roses is a multiplayer-focused action game, set in 15th century England. It was developed by Fatshark studios – the company that created such games as Krater and Bionic Commando Rearmed 2.Players can create their own characters, who gain experience points, better weapons and armor. Additionally, characters can specialize in a particular kind of fighting. Fatshark Studios and Paradox Interactive made sure, that fields of battle, weapons and equipment were as faithful to their historical counterparts as possible. The game uses new, and upgraded version of Bitsquid engine, that was previously used in such titles as Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West.
