These are well known for the Mughal Era inspired designs in golden as well as silver brocade or Zari. Pattern Details: Ajrak printing originated from Kutch, Gujarat. A resist- dyeing technique, it involves the use of natural dyes including indigo and madder. Fabric: Art silk is manufactured by synthetic fibres like rayon. It's light in weight and is soft on the skin for comfort in summers. Ornamentation: Zari work is known for the art of weaving threads in golden and silver colours.
