What is oil carrier?
A type of oil that can be used to thin EO before topical use for owners of sensitive skin. The term carrier oil comes from the fact that this oil is used to carry essential oils to be used on the skin.
When applied purely, it has the potential to cause reddish irritation, or other reactions, especially for those with sensitive skin. So it is recommended to add carrier oil to dissolve (dilute) essential oils before applying topically.
