The developer of Slain: Back From Hell, a nominee for the Unity Awards, has released Valfaris, a 2D intervention with powerful rock influences set in a remote region of the orbit. They were first revealed in August 2021 and then made public in November. Therion, a warrior in the videogame, discovers that Valfaris, his hometown, has become chaotic upon his comeback. He embarks on a Quest to discover what transpired in his house, eliminate its evil occupants, and murder his father. Reviewers gave Valfaris largely positive feedback.
