After a doctor drinks an experimental drug made from the blood of vampire bats, he discovers that he is turning into a vampire; after a woman gets married, she is terrorized by strange sights and sounds at her husband's estate; after being bitten by a bat in a cave, a man finds himself turning into a bat-like creature; years after the residents of a European village kill several vampires, a surviving vampire returns and seduces people in the village as they try to destroy her.
