Step 1: Use an appropriate drill bit (NOT included) to drill a hole (as deep as possible) in the damaged screw; step 2: install the screw extractor on the electric hand drill; step 3: reverse the extractor to remove the damaged screw. Tips: Must be used vertically and at a slow speed when drilling. If the damaged screw has a smooth surface drill the hole first. The speed needs to be set according to different materials usually the harder the material the lower the drilling speed.
