Design Details: Origin: Uppada Silk is named after a small beach town of Uppada in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. These sarees are made from the age old Jamdani method with cotton warp. Fabric: Pure Cotton is a natural and cellulosic fibre known for its durability, comfort and absorbent nature. Ornamentation: Zari work is known for the art of weaving threads in golden and silver colours. It involves the process of twisting a flattened metallic strip, which sometimes is made from pure gold and silver.
