These sarees are known for the incorporation of traditional motifs like shankha (shell), chakra (wheel), phula (flower) etc. Fabric: Silk is a natural fibre produced from the cocoons of mulberry silkworm and has a shimmering appearance due to the triangular prism-like structure in the weave. Ornamentation: Zari work is known for the art of weaving threads in golden and silver colours.
