Named after the early weavers who settled down in this region in the 17th century, these sarees are made using a unique process where eight sarees are made using vegetable dyes at one go on a single loom. Fabric: Pure Cotton is a natural and cellulosic fibre known for its durability, comfort and absorbent nature. Ornamentation: Zari work is known for the art of weaving threads in golden and silver colours. It involves the process of twisting a flattened metallic strip, which sometimes is made from pure gold and silver.
