United States Army Heroes Korean War to Present: 24th Infantry Division

This volume contains the Names and Citations for all awards of the Medal of Honor and Distinguished Service Cross awarded to members of the 24th Infantry Division in Korea. It also includes a comprehensive listing estimated at more than 90% complete for all awards of the Silver Star to members of the Division in Korea with full-text citations for half of these recipients and detailed synopsis for the remainder. The volume also contains a comprehensive listing with either a citation or detailed synopsis for awards of the Legion of Merit, Distinguished Flying Cross, and Soldiers Medal, including awards for actions in the post-Korean War era. Several appendixes analyze these awards by such criteria as Rank, Specialty, chronology, company and regiment, and recipients by hometown.
