Описание
Tucson, AZ: UFO Photo Archives, 1990. First Edition, one of 1,000 copies, though the limitation page apparently was not ultimately used to sequentially number or otherwise specify most individual copies. "From his hitherto SECRET DOSSIER in Switzerland". Preface by Wendelle C. Stevens; a foreword by Dr. Hans Holzer is cited on the title page, but was apparently excluded from the final publication. Interestingly, Zinsstag's own introduction still bears her cross-outs and corrections (as does much of the book itself). Illustrated from photographs and document facsimiles [aggregated byTimothy Good]. Octavo, 208 pp. Maroon leatherette cloth, gilt spine imprinting; illustrated jacket (jacket painting, a rendering of George Adamski's first "photographic event", on March 5, 1951, is by Jim Nichols) . Book is a gleaming near fine; jacket has notable front cover soiling (see scan), some also on rear cover, as well as one 3/8" closed tear and some sporadic small-scale edge roughening; jacket is About Very Good, and not price-clipped, still showing the original $ 14.95 price. Louise "Lou" Zinsstag was a lont-time secretary and general assistant for George Adamski, the second ever claimed contactee in modern UFO history (after Albert Coe's claimed experience in the twenties). As stated in her introduction, she is herein divulging new material, correcting old errors by others, and republicizing Adamski's importance for "...a young generation of UFO researchers for whom George Adamski was not much more than a name..." . Published in 1990 with only a thousand of this first edition; already a piece of UFO research history. Superb old photos, diagrams and documents - and every proper name you read above is a legend within the field. A collection of icons. L55n
