Twins' Series Volume I. Seven Books (Timeless Wisdom Collection)

This volume presents together the first seven books of the amazing “Twins” series by Lucy Fitch Perkins (1865-1937), one of the most influential children´s series of the beginning of last century. For each book, Perkins would try to interview an individual who grew up in the given country to gain an understanding of the particular customs of the country depicted in the book. Later books in the series, such as The American Twins of the Revolution, supplanted history for geography as the basis of the twins' backgrounds.
