Made of aluminium with Starflon Max non-stick coating on the inside and outside, it offers fast, uniform cooking and prevents food from sticking to its coating, making cleaning easier. The lid is made of tempered glass with a steam outlet and stainless steel rim. The Tramontina Wok guarantees quick preparation thanks to its shape and coating, which makes cooking much healthier, as it requires a low use of fat, preserving even more the nutritional properties of the food, enhancing the flavour of your dishes. The maximum volumetric capacity for cooking is 3/4 of the total capacity of the piece. Position the handles of the utensils facing the centre of the stove. On stoves with a grid, centre the piece and align the handle with the grid. Hot utensils must be out of the reach of children. This product cannot be modified. Before first use, wash with a soft sponge, mild soap or liquid detergent. After drying, grease the inner area with oil or fat and heat for a minute or two. Let cool and wash again. Your Starflon utensil is ready to use with or without fat, always on low or medium heat (never above 350ºC). To stir food, use only silicone, nylon or wooden utensils. Avoid immersing the hot utensil in cold water. Never use abrasive products for washing. If you allow food to burn, moisten the area and set aside until you can remove any stuck-on residue with a sponge and soap. To dispose of products and packaging, follow the current recycling guidelines. This product does not require maintenance, only cleaning.
