For many fountain-pen aficionados, the Tomoe River paper in this notebook is the holy grail of all writing papers.
For good reasons! It has a ‘velvety’ smooth surface on which your inked-pen will glide effortlessly and the lines will stay crisp, the colours will glow, and shading of the ink shows beautifully.
Yes, also gel-ink like in the Sarasa or Stalogy, or markers, even brush-pens and even water-colours will not bleed through (though don’t try wet-in-wet technique ;).
The paper is light-weight (52 gsm) and some ghosting can be seen - but no bleed-through - ok, we don’t include a Sharpie here.
And because it’s so lightweight, the notebook is way thinner than other notebooks with a lot of pages packed in. It will open flat thanks to sewn bookbinding.
