Thoughts about architecture

In 1977 the architectural section of "Rotterdamse Kunststichting"(Rotterdam's art foundation) started a series of exhibitions aimed at improving the knowledge and understanding of the development of today's architecture in the recent past. This was established within the general framework of the foundation, i.e. to promote a better understanding and exposure of the arts in the marketplace. The foundation asked four of Rotterdam's leading architects to partake in one of these exhibitions, which was to be based on the theme"ARchitects Dreams". The purpose of this particular exhibition was to show "The buildings Architects really would like to build" accompanied by explanations of their rationale.
