The Winter Palace [first edition]

This handsome volume of watercolors from the Hermitage Museum document the winter home of the Russian Tsars in St. Petersburg, built between 1754 and 1762. The collection makes up one of the jewels of the Hermitage Museum. Preface by Mikhail Borisovich Piotrovsky, Hermitage director, with introduction and commentaries by Militsa Filipovna Korshunova.
