The Rite(DVD English)

The Rite (2011), directed by Mikael Hafstrom, is a tale that is inspired by true events. Michael, played by Colin O'Donoghue, unlike his dad, goes on to pursue religious studies at a seminary. However, his faith seems to be dwindling from time to time. His mentor, persuades him to leave for Italy, where he can specialize in exorcism, hoping to regain his faith in Christianity again. Father Xavier, played by Ciaran Hinds, is not convinced enough and sends him to Father Lucas, played by Anthony Hopkins. He explains to Michael that practice makes perfect and soon after, Michael must overcome his own insecurities and doubts in order to proceed forward in this drama-based horror movie.
