The Phantom Detective: 12/33

PHANTOM DETECTIVE - 12/33 was the Thrilling Group answer to The Shadow. A wealthy man about town, who is tired of the police being handcuffed, and takes the law into his own hands. Pretty staple stuff for the pulps, yet The Phantom Detective actually outlasted The Shadow and most of the other pulp heroes by still being published in the early 50's while those others bit the dust.
