The Paperbag Prince, Paperback Book, By: Colin Thompson

An old man's kingdom is the town dump; his palace, an abandoned railroad carriage at the edge of it. But the Paper Bag Prince (he earned his title by foraging in the litter for bags and other useful objects) is content with his lot, and with his subjects--the stray animals who also call the dump home. About Colin Thompson After leaving art school, Colin Thompson went to the London school of film Technique. He worked for a while at the BBC, then moved to the Outer Hebrides where he began 20 years of self-employment ceramics. He is is the author/illustrator of several highly acclaimed picture books including The Paradise Garden, The Last Alchemist and Falling Angels. He lives in New South Wales, Australia.
