Greece is not all sun and sea - three-quarters of the country is mountains. They are unexplored, undeveloped and very beautiful. Though rugged, Alpine meadows soften the harshness of the crags, forests fill the ravines, and springs and rivers abound - especially in central and northern Greece. Originally published in 1986, this is the first comprehensive guide to the Greek mountains to appear in any language.
