The MoM: Justice is just like beauty, its in the eye of the beholder

My soon-to-be-released autobiography covers my personal battles with Ohio’s public school and criminal justice systems. It is a story of how these two totally different institutions converged to rob me of the life of my father, my liberty and my pursuit of happiness. My soon to be released autobiography will take you into the depths of my sad and harrowing experiences as a single mother who was convicted of two felonies and sentenced to jail time all in the name of seeking quality education for my two daughters in a place I call ‘home.’ My book will take you step by step into what I call “the lions’ den” – a world I never knew existed, and how my single decision to keep my daughters safe changed my life forever. My book explains how the criminal justice system and the public school system ‘ganged-up’ on me to deprive me of my rights and deny my children of equal protection under the law.
