The topic represent both mathematical and biological interests, and envisaged the subject-matter of the conference "as broadly based on the mathematical theory of time-change in animal populations, whether these populations refer to land animals (including humans), fishes or insects, and whether they refer to actual migration in space or to changes in size and structure.
