The Lunchbox(Blu-ray Hindi)

Sometimes, comfort can be found at the bottom of a lunch box; in this case, in the form of a letter. Directed by Ritesh Batra, The Lunchbox is a Hindi romantic drama film which stars Screen Actors Guild Award-winner Irrfan Khan, Nimrat Kaur and Nawazuddin Siddiqui of Gangs of Wasseypur fame. The plot of this enchanting tale follows the unexpected relationship that is formed between Ila, a neglected wife, and Saajan, a lonely man who is near retirement. Ila, in order to add spice to her marriage, prepares a special lunch which she sends to her husband at work, however, the lunch box reaches another man’s table. When Ila’s husband returns home at night, he doesn’t have a response; seeing this, Ila puts a note in the lunch box the next day which eventually leads to her forming a virtual relationship with Saajan by communication through letters.
