The Last Picture Show(DVD English)

The Last Picture Show is a small town coming-of-age movie of high school best friends Sonny Crawford and Duane Jackson. It is set in a slowly dying north Texas town in early 1950’s. The Last Picture Show, a 1971 American drama film, is adapted from a semi-autobiographical novel by the same name by Larry McMurtry. Director Peter Bogdanovich has made splendid use of the story line's period and setting to create a sad but moving classic. Timothy Bottoms, Jeff Bridges and Cybill Shepherd have delivered powerful performances in lead roles.
