The Keys Of The Kingdom: A Study On The Biblical Form Of Church Government

Independency, as practised by the Particular Baptists of the 17th century, is shown to be the biblical form of church government by considering eleven principles based on the Bible, the Baptist Confessions of Faith of 1644 and 1689, and the writings of John Owen - in descending order of importance. It is contrasted with three other forms of church government that have come down to us historically, viz. Episcopacy, Presbyterianism, and Congregationalism.
