The Interallied Victory Medals of World War I

This edition is the product of a continuing demand for information on the Interallied Victory Medal series, new research on the subject by the author, and contributions from collectors prompted by the First Edition. Among the results are the addition of a number of varieties of the Victory Medal not previously identified and the reclassification of several First Edition varieties, namely from unofficial to official. At the request of the readers of the First Edition, this edition contains a chapter on the Philippine Victory Medals, an introduction on a Chinese "Victory Medal", and illustrations of the various Victory Medal award certificates that could be located. Accompanying the award certificates are figures of the additional varieties, figures of varieties not illustrated in the First Edition, and a few figures that are meant to enhance the background of the Victory Medal. Some of the chapters from the First Edition are largely intact while others have been substantially amended, and technology has permitted an improvement in the overall design of the edition.
