The Immigrant. The Judge Fisher Story

Historical fiction based on the life of George (Jorge) Fisher, a 19th century revolutionary. He fought the Ottomans at Belgrade, or Darul-jihad, "The Holy War's Threshold" as the Ottomans called the city on the Danube. His writings inspired Lord Byron to join the Greek revolution. He stood up to Santa Anna, and organized the first, now forgotten battle of the Texas revolution. He hated Empires. Yet, he helped build the greatest Empire of all.
