For people with long roots in Mobile,Alabama, Harry T. Toulmin's "The Great Bingville Fair" will be of great interest. It highlights not only the Fairs, which helped to raise money for the Toulminville School and Community House, but gives the early history of the area, the people and the buildings that made up the community. Unfortunately, the physical reminders of this once tranquil area are almost all gone- the only way to visit it is through this book.
