The Gospel According to St. Paul

A revised edition of author Archibald M. Hunter's earlier "Interpreting Paul's Gospel", this important book has been expanded by Hunter to give both the general reader and the theological student a short, reliable, up-to-date sketch of Paul's theology, and show how Paul speaks to us today. Of particular note is a new chapter on the continuity between Jesus and Paul, especially how they agree on the essentials of sin and salvation. His final chapter shows how Paul's concept of agape, God's love in Christ reflected and responded to, is a law of life as valid for us today as for Paul's first readers.
