Welcome to The Good Place. Everything is fine. Eleanor Shellstrop (Kristen Bell, Veronica Mars) has passed away, her spirit's final resting place being 'The Good Place'. Spirits live in specially designed neighbourhoods. Michael (Ted Danson, Cheers) is the architect of Eleanor's neighbourhood. All spirits are paired with soul mates and Eleanor's is an ethicist named Chidi (William Jackson Harper) Life is absolutely perfect.
