There is an abundance of information on how to start your own business or become an entrepreneur. However, although much of what businesspersons describe may apply to the problems facing a dietitian who starts a private practice, applied knowledge specific to the nutrition arena is lacking. This book gives a dietitian's view of private practice and entrepreneurialism. The text follows the practical stages that occur in the development of an entrepreneurial venture. Actual experiences of practitioners, as well as questions commonly asked at over 60 private practice seminars and lectures conducted since 1979, are highlighted.
