Set in the continent of Tamriel, the storyline of this game is partly related to the other games in The Elder Scroll franchise. Taking place around a millenium before the events of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, The Elder Scrolls Online witnesses the chaos that is unleashed by the Daedric Prince Molag Bal who attempts to conquer Tamriel and make it a part of his realm - Coldharbour. The player must decide which major faction he or she would like to become a part of in order to join the war over the throne of the Emperor of Tamriel. The three factions include; the Daggerfall Covenant whose symbol is a lion; the Aldmeri Dominion whose symbol is an eagle, and the Ebonheart Pact whose symbol is a dragon. There are four classes that the player can chose to become a part of, i.e., Nightblade, Dragon Knight, Sorcerer and Templar. Each of the classes grant different abilities and stats that have their fair share of advantages and disadvantages when facing various challenges. With numerous quests and random events, this game offers loads of daring situations that require you to show your grit as a valiant fighter. Featuring an open world environment, you get to explore the many magical places that exist in the vastness of Tamriel and kill monsters and boss monsters that will grant you experience and items which will help you in your quest for power.
