The Development of Contemporary Arabic Narrative Literature.

The essays and research papers in this volume were originally presented at literary and critical conferences and seminars held in the United Arab Emirates. Papers that had been ready for publication in peer-reviewed journals but were held up by the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic are also included. These articles examine a range of well-known and critically acclaimed works of fiction, including several winners of major literary awards.
