Directed by Marc Webb and starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Rhys Ifans, The Amazing Spider-Man is a superhero action-adventure fantasy film that follows a photographer named Peter Parker who gains extraordinary abilities after he is bit by a radioactive spider. Devoid of his parents and staying with his uncle and aunt, Peter comes across a briefcase with information that may lead him to finding out about the disappearance of his parents. However, little does he know that he is headed on a collision course with Dr. Curt Connors, once Peter’s father’s former partner, who now has a vicious alter-ego called The Lizard who he morphs into.
