Based on a novel of the same name by Kass Morgan and developed by Jason Rothenberg, The 100 is an absorbing drama sci-fi TV series that explores the popular post-apocalyptic scenario with a whole new twist. Cast-wise, this episodic places the spotlight on Eliza Taylor, Paige Turco, Thomas McDonell, Eli Goree and a few others. Set 97 years after a catastrophic nuclear war destroyed almost all life on Earth, The 100 follows a hundred juvenile delinquents (criminals below the age of 18) who are banished from a massive space station called "The Ark" which houses the last few humans who survived the apocalyptic war in Earth’s orbit. Exiled onto Earth due to the Ark’s failing support systems and its residents’ curiosity to find out if the Earth is habitable or not, the juveniles must now scour the now seemingly beautiful planet and face its unknown dangers.
